According to actual reports, a virtual reality solution for the Xbox One is indeed being worked on. It is said to be unveiled this year and unlike current solutions like PlayStation VR without cables get along.
Already in the course of the official announcement of the Xbox Scorpio last year, Microsoft confirmed that the console is to be considered sooner or later with its own virtual reality solution.
After being pretty quiet about this issue in the past few months, Microsoft’s mixed reality boss Alex Kipman, speaking with the English-language publication Polygon, lost a few words about the virtual reality solution for the Xbox Scorpio and pointed out that this On which E3 will play no role in the coming week. In other words, players should not expect any news.
Xbox VR: Microsoft apparently has a wireless version
According to Kipman internally, the Windows Mixed Reality is the focus, which is to be paved on the PC the path to success. Since the PC or Windows gives the users more options here, Microsoft first focuses on the PC. However, there is yet another reason why Microsoft is still elegantly restrained to Xbox VR.
So Microsoft is convinced that a VR glasses for the Xbox would have to be wireless. However, the corresponding technology is still in the children’s shoes, as a glance at the PC shows. A commercial publication of the first prototypes and / or starts is expected at the earliest in autumn.
When Xbox VR might appear in the end, is still unclear. Kipman did not want to mention any further details on this subject. He could not confirm a possible launch in 2018 either.
