At BlizzCon 2017 Blizzard Entertainment officially announced the development of “World of Warcraft Classic”. As part of a tweet, the studio apparently unveiled the first gameplay material to reissue.
After the community in recent years repeatedly used for Classic server to the MMO perennial favorite “World of Warcraft”, the managers of Blizzard Entertainment the wishes of the players at the end of last year after.
So the studio used the BlizzCon 2017 to officially announce “World of Warcraft Classic”. As the name of the project suggests, World of Warcraft Classic revives the classic gaming experience of fantasy online role-playing games on appropriate servers. In addition, the developers promise minor adjustments and improvements, which should be considered in due course.
World of Warcraft Classic: Apparently first gameplay material available
Apart from a first trailer, there was not much to see “World of Warcraft Classic” yet. Only now Blizzard Entertainment seems to have released the first gameplay material to “World of Warcraft Classic” in the course of an official tweet. In this Blizzard Entertainment celebrates the meanwhile 13th anniversary of the MMOs and goes thereby among other things the question with which class the players their adventure began at that time.
At the same time a short gameplay clip can be seen, which apparently comes from “World of Warcraft Classic”. So the players noticed various improvements compared to the original “World of Warcraft” – including more detailed shadows or revised quest symbols.
When the Classic servers will start in the end, is still unclear. As Blizzard Entertainment admitted in November 2017, due to the hassle associated with the reboot, they may be waiting quite a while.
