Inbetween games wants to release an action-packed tactical action game from the isometric perspective with “All Walls Must Fall”. But before that, Steams Early Access. A trailer provides a first taste.
Consisting of three former Yager developers, who were previously responsible for titles such as “Spec Ops: The Line” and “Dead Island 2,” the men of inbetweengames have been a mixture of “All Walls Must Fall” “XCOM” and “Braid” for the PC, Mac and Linux distributions to the market.
As announced by the developers, early access will start on the 8th of August and will provide the first act of the replayable Rogue-like campaign. A price and a final publication date are not yet known. The developers want – based on the player’s feedback – to publish monthly updates. Here is a trailer for tuning. The offshoot from the isometric perspective describes itself as a Tech-Noir tactics game, combining tactical action with an agent thriller.
The title places us in an alternative Berlin in the year 2089, where the Cold War still had no end. For the player, it is necessary to command secret agents who have to avert nuclear destruction and who have made the task of plunging the wall. The levels are generated procedurally, so the campaign plays differently each time. The offshoot developed with the Unreal Engine 4 has already been under development for 1.5 years and successfully managed a kickstarter campaign (1,402 supporters donated a total of $ 36,576).
