SEGA and The Creative Assembly today show us an experimental game mode called The Laboratory, which will be integrated into the strategy game Total War: Warhammer 2 next week.
The executives of SEGA and The Creative Assembly have announced that the strategy game “Total War: Warhammer 2” will receive a new experimental game mode. It will be named “The Laboratory” and will be released on December 14, 2017 in the form of a free update. Thanks to a new gameplay trailer you can already get an impression of the new game mode.
“The Laboratory” is supposed to be a custom battle area based on the Skaven faction. The mode was developed in cooperation with Intel, which is why mainly players with powerful Intel-based PCs were chosen as the target group.
With the 16 different settings options, you can modify numerous game variables to change the battles of “Total War: Warhammer 2” in a unique and sometimes insane way. Players have the opportunity to increase the number of units significantly, to change the gravity or to multiply the combat power and to bring about a true chaos on the battlefield. In an official FAQ you can find more information about the game mode and the PC requirements.
