The UK developer studio SMAC Games has now revealed an official appearance date for the isometric open-world shooter “Tokyo 42”. So the Xbox One and the PC will be provided with the new adventure on May 31, 2017. PlayStation 4 players, however, have to wait until mid-July for a release.
Officially, the game says, “Tokyo 42 is a hyper-stylized isometric shooter in an open world. After you’ve been given a murder that you have not committed, you’re diving into a world of assassins, deadly intrigues and … tactical Cats, rotate the camera to watch every corner of the hand-crafted mini-Tokyo, discovering countless weapons, secrets, and stories. ”
The developers promise a skillful shooting, projectile physics, skillful crawling and simulations of human masses. In addition to a single-player campaign, you can also expect numerous multiplayer modes. The following trailer gives a quick look at the game:
