This year, “Titanic VR” is probably the most famous wreck in the world. More than 100 years after the fall of the Titanic you can examine the sunken ship in a very personal way. A new video with play scenes gives an impression of it.
The team behind the VR project “Apollo 11” announced another virtual reality game a year ago. This is “Titanic VR”, which illuminates the downfall of the passenger ship and the wreck. In January, money was collected for this project through a kickstarter campaign. About 50,000 dollars came together. In addition, a very brief demo of “Titanic VR” was made available on Steam.
“Titanic VR” consists of two parts. On the other hand, you are offered an interactive section where you can examine the shipwreck. In the final version of “Titanic VR”, you will find a fully animated historical recount of the events of April 14 and 15, 1912. The first part, the exploration of the wreck, is the focus of a video published today. It shows a dive to the wreck of the Titanic.
This starts with a submarine, with which you can later examine the Titanic’s exterior. Inside the sunken ship a dive robot has to take over this job. With the publication of “Titanic VR” is according to the Kickstarter side of the title this year for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Playstation VR to be reckoned. Added to this is a 2D screen version for PC and Playstation 4. Here the new video with some underwater scenes:
