The size of “Super Mario Odyssey” is manageable: the title brings 5.7 GB of data, so that no MicroSD card is needed. “Super Mario Odyssey” will come on the market on October 27, 2017 for the Nintendo Switch.
The Nintendo Switch comes with a fairly manageable storage space, which can be expanded with a MicroSD card. For some games, this memory addition is even mandatory or recommended. A few days ago we reported on “NBA 2K18”, which has a size of around 7 GB. Since an additional 16 GB update has to be loaded, the memory capacity of the Nintendo Switch is exceeded. For the storage data, 5 GB are also used per save file.
The Nintendo Switch has a 32 GB internal memory, of which about 25 GB is actually usable. In the case of “Super Mario Odyssey” you do not have to buy an additional memory card. According to recent data, the game is only 5.7 GB in size, however, updates and other downloads are still a few data will come up. For comparison, “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” brought it to 13.4 GB in March this year.
Other Nintendo Switch games are somewhat more frugal. “Splatoon 2” has a size of 3.2 GB, “ARMS” comes to 2.2 GB and “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” to 7 GB. If you buy the games on a cartridge, then the size of the respective title does not matter anyway. “Super Mario Odyssey” will come on the market on October 27, 2017 for the Nintendo Switch.
