Nintendo has announced that starting March 16, a special “Starter Edition” for “Splatoon 2” will be found in North American commerce. In addition to the game, a guide and stickers are included. There is no announcement for Europe yet.
Since its launch last July, “Splatoon 2” has become one of Nintendo Switch‘s best-selling games. Around five million copies of the Color Blob shooter have since been sold. After launch, the title was supported with a variety of weapons, cards and Splatfests. And to get even more players on board, Nintendo has announced the “Splatoon 2 Starter Edition”, which should be sold with some extras at the same price as the base game.
The “Splatoon 2 Starter Edition” will be released on March 16, 2018 for $ 59.99. The extended version was initially announced for the American market. In addition to the game itself, the components include a “100-page multiplayer Splatoon 2 strategy guide” and two sticker sheets in the “Splatoon” style. Since Nintendo games usually take a while to sink in price, you’ll get the most for your money with this version after the launch.
Shortly before, Nintendo announced that Pearl and Marina will be released later this year as Amiibos. While their in-game features and release date are still unknown, it has already leaked out that they will only be available through a two-pack that costs $ 24.99.
