Bandai Namco gets a lot of new footage out: Although the videos from a livestream are not technically HD-like, they underline the gameplay behind “Soul Calibur 6”.
To keep followers informed, Bandai Namco’s “Soul Calibur 6” makers livestreamed at Tokaigi Game Party 2018, held in Chiba, Japan, near Tokyo. Here one showed with the video material, among other things, further insights into the game mechanics, which was streamed via NicoNico on the screens.
The videos below highlight different aspects. The first two films illustrate the basics and basic techniques for introducing “Soul Calibur” freaks to the game, with the second video exploring the basics in more detail. The other videos show different matches, so games between Grøh and Nightmare and the fighters Xianghua and Sophitia can be seen. In both cases, the critical edge moves are shown.
In the moving pictures, pro-player Yuta “Kamisama” Kamizono from Team Godsgarden and the offspring’s Battle Planner can be watched during a heated, local battle. For one, Grøh lays down with Kilik and then with Mitsurugi. Kilik’s Critical Edge-Move is also in the gameplay scenes. Although the picture quality is certainly not on HD level, fans can draw some conclusions here.
