Once again, the guys of Psyonix have unveiled a new game mode for “Rocket League“. The next week, “Dropshot” will also be able to make a new arena insecure.
Psyonix officials have now announced that they will soon be adding a new game mode to the multiplayer hit “Rocket League”. This will be called “Dropshot” and will be available free of charge on 22 March 2017. With the new game mode, an additional arena called “Core 707” will also find its way into the game. In this, the players have to race through the ground to score points.
Because “Core 707” will include hexagonal bottom plates, which players have to break through with an electrified ball to prepare and achieve goals. Each floor plate can be hit twice with a ball. The first hit activates the disk while the second destroys it. The electrified ball, in turn, has three different faces, each of which is stronger than the other and determines how much damage the ball makes when it bounces through the ground.
A suitable trailer gives a first look at the new game mode.
