As the developers of Tequila Works confirmed on demand, the switch version of “Rime” is currently in the optimization phase. In addition, the studio announced that the price of the switch implementation was lowered.
As is certainly known, the promising indie adventure “Rime” will be released on May 26th for the Xbox One, the PC and the PlayStation 4.
Only the currently announced announcement for Nintendos Switch has not received a handheld release date yet. According to official data, it will remain for the time being. As the responsible developers of Tequila Works confirmed on demand, the switch version of “Rime” is currently still in the optimization phase.
In the run-up to the release, the fact is that “Rime” will cost 44.99 euros on Switch, while the other two consoles will cost 34.99 euros. To smooth the waves a bit, Tequila Works and Gray Box Games announced a price reduction of the switch version.
However, this only concerns the download version for Switch, which is available just like their Xbox One and PlayStation 4 counterparts for the price of 34.99 dollars. The price of the retail version, on the other hand, will continue to be 44.99 dollars on Switch. As a small compensation, the buyers receive a code, with the soundtrack of “Rime”, which otherwise costs nearly ten euros, can be downloaded free of charge.
