As of now, the fifth update to the full version of “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” is now available on the PC. This brings with it new anti-cheat measures and other innovations.
In the past few weeks it became apparent that the immensely successful Battle Royal shooter “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” still suffers from the cheater problem.
Bluehole Studios‘ responsible developers recently reaffirmed that the studio will continue to do its utmost to master the problems. Recently, more than one million players guilty of cheating or violating the Terms of Service have been banned.
In addition, the Bluehole Studios announced that the fifth update to the full version of “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” is now available on the PC. This brings, among other things, new anti-cheat measures.

- Fixed the issue where the sound of explosions would become too loud when played simultaneously
- Balanced the number of simultaneous explosion sounds, in order to optimize game performance
