Previously unconfirmed reports, the developers of From Software are working on the new brand “Phantom Wail”. This will be presented at this year’s E3 in the coming month.
In the near future, the Japanese developer studio From Software confirmed several times that behind the scenes on different new projects is being worked on.
Since there is a gloomy action-roller-play under these, it was quickly assumed that we could have a possible successor to “Bloodborne”. Current rumors, however, contradict the whole and state that From Software will not travel with “Bloodborne 2”, but instead with a completely new brand to the E3 2017 next month.
Phantom Wail: Does From Software Work on a New Brand?
This would at least have a supposed insider to know and points out that the action of “Phantom Wail”, so the name of the new brand, at the times of the Aztecs and Mayan era. With a look at the playful implementation, it is stated that From Software will build hand-to-hand and martial arts techniques this time, and will adopt the “Souls” adventure from the weapon-based move sets.
These are designed to give you a hand-to-hand move set. As the insider further explains, “Phantom Wail” is the gloomy “Souls” -like project, which From Software in the near past repeatedly mentioned. Since “Phantom Wail” is developed in close collaboration with Sonys Japan Studios, the project is to appear exclusively for the PlayStation 4 just like “Bloodborne”.
Sony and From Software, however, did not want to confirm the rumors about the new brand.
