Konami has officially unveiled first details of the open beta of the upcoming soccer simulation “PES 2018”. The Japanese publisher has confirmed that the beta will begin on July 20, 2017. The online test will end on July 31, 2017.
As part of the open beta, players will be able to play in 1-against-1 or 3-against-3 with two teams. The national teams of Brazil and France are selected. In good weather or during rain you can compete in the New Sun Arena. Both the day and the night are available as daytime.
The people in charge have also indicated that PlayStation 4 players will not need PlayStation Plus membership to participate in the test. Xbox LIVE players will need Xbox Live Gold.
As part of the online beta you can already get an impression of the graphical improvements. The Real Capture system will ensure the real lighting conditions during day and evening play, with the lawn and the stadiums also being presented in a realistic manner. Playfully, the developers promise complete control in an even more dynamic gameplay. A more realistic pace as well as a new strategic dribbling system, together with the “REAL touch + process” feature, will enable a better representation of football.
