Konami writes to the footballer: “Johan Cruyff debuted as a professional in Holland in 1964. He played for club teams around the world, such as Spain and the USA, and won a variety of titles, including the Ballon d’Or in 1971, 1973 and 1974 Cruyff was also a crucial part of the Dutch national team and the most well-known representative of the so-called ‘Total Football’, a game direction, which laid the foundation for modern football.
Cruyff’s technique had stunned the football world and with the “Cruyff Turn” a popular move was established, which can now be used in the “PES” series. “I am proud that my father is returning to the pitch in Pro Evolution Soccer, and I hope we can enjoy his performance in-game as well as on the real grass,” said Jordi Cruyff, Johan Cruyff’s son.
