Nintendo also played the muscles at this year’s E3 and unveiled some new project for the two in-house platforms in the form of the Nintendo 3DS or the switch.
Among the new announcements was also the first-person action-adventure “Metroid Prime 4”, which was repeatedly requested by the community in recent years. Apart from the fact that the title, unlike the original trilogy emerges not with the Texas Retro Studios, Nintendo so far, however, no further details.
A decision that Reginald Fils-Aime, President of Nintendo of America, defended in a recent interview. As Reggie does, Nintendo usually announces only titles, which also appear in a foreseeable time period and to which one can show some handfestes. In Metroid Prime 4, however, the situation was different.
According to this, “Metroid Prime 4” is a title for which the players have been struggling in the past years. Therefore, Nintendo wanted to make the community understand that their feedback is heard. Reggie, however, points out that the adventure will be in development for a while.
Thus patience is required.
