Recently, Blizzard Entertainment itself rumored that “Hearthstone” might appear for Nintendo’s switch. As the studio confirmed, however, no implementation is currently planned for Nintendo’s current platform.
In November of last year, BlizzCon 2017 was held in Anaheim, California, where Blizzard Entertainment executives talked about the various in-house projects.
Among them was the trading card game “Hearthstone”. As the studio in the person of senior game designer Peter Whalen to understand, is internally considered to offer “Hearthstone” on other platforms. Due to the mobile factor, according to Whalen, especially Nintendo’s switch moved into the field of view of the studio.

As he asserted in a short statement, Blizzard Entertainment is not working on a switch version of “Hearthstone”. Currently, a corresponding project is not planned. Instead, the internal resources should be put into various improvements and new content.
