Milestone is dedicated to a “Gravel” video of the offroad racing game in a new video. The title is to come next year for consoles and PC on the market.
The developers of Milestone have released a new video for the upcoming off-road racing game “Gravel”. This is all about technical evolution. The makers take “five minutes of your time” to show you some of the landscapes created by the 3D artists with the Unreal Engine.
“How to tell you more about the ingame sound and show you what sky and lighting can make a huge difference,” says Andrea Porta, social and community manager at Milestone. “With the help of the Unreal Engine, which Milestone has recently been working on, we want to continue to improve and have the opportunity to revise many other aspects of our game, from the art department to allusions to sound engineering.”
Porta then speaks of an “incredibly funny, fast, extravagant roller coaster ride with some of the most powerful off-road vehicles ever.” The whole thing is reminiscent of old Aracade racing games, but is “equipped with breakthrough graphics and audio”. “We want you to push the accelerator of V8 trophy prints and legendary rally cars, participate in the biggest off-road show of all time and remain breathless to the finish line.”
