The beta version of the racing simulation “Gran Turismo Sport” has received another update. With this, new functions such as tire wear, fuel consumption and mechanical damage are brought into play.
Sony Interactive Entertainment and the responsible developers of Polyphony Digital have missed the closed beta of the racing simulation “Gran Turismo Sport” another update. With the update 1.08 some additional functions were integrated into the game, as well as various problems were fixed.
Under certain conditions, the new software patches will incur time penalty for collision. Furthermore, tire wear, fuel consumption and mechanical vehicle damage should also be added. The Patchnotes reveal some details and some videos already take a look at the adjustments:
Implemented main functions
•Time penalties are now imposed when collisions between vehicles occur under certain conditions.
•The problem that caused the camera settings to be reset when you rebooted a race has been fixed

•Various bugs have been fixed
“In addition, after this patch is applied, we are planning to hold races that offer tire wear, fuel consumption, and vehicle damage,” it says. “Gran Turismo Sport” will be released next fall for the PlayStation 4.
