Google seems to have removed plans to produce its own autonomous cars for now.
Apple recently noticed this fact, raising its plans to produce its own car for an indefinite period of time. Now it looks like Google got the same decision. Like Apple, who has made plans to produce his own autonomous car, Google has decided to give up and direct attention to the software part of the business.
The automotive sector is one of the most difficult sectors to enter the world. It is possible to spend a lot of money and time to enter this sector which requires a wide range of heavy industrial investments. But sometimes even this is not enough.
Larry Page, the name of Alphabet at the Google corporate group, thinks that the company’s investment in autonomous cars for many years should now be fruitful. But for now, the most likely way to do this is to offer autonomous driving software developed by Google for the use of brands in the automotive sector.
For the moment, the idea of producing an autonomous car that Google has been working on for years and scratched in the shape of an egg is rafting for now. Instead of trying to produce and sell this mini-car, which is planned to be completely driver-free, they prefer to have the software they have developed in the automotive sector. Just like they do on mobile phones with Android, they are planning to come to an important place in the autonomous vehicle industry in the coming years.
