The first dispute with one of the sued “Fortnite” theaters was settled out of court. In a repeated offense, however, threatens a penalty of $ 5,000. Also in the case of the sued 14-year-old cheater there are new details.
After it later turned out that one of the two lawsuits was filed against a minor, the other cheater came off lightly. The lawsuit gave way to an out of court settlement. According to TorrentFreak, the lawsuit against Charles Vraspir will not be prosecuted. Instead, the two parties have reached a settlement agreement that quite clearly suggests to Vraspir that he should not repeat his earlier behavior. If he violates the agreement, threatens a monetary or contractual penalty in the amount of $ 5,000.
How the 14-year-old cheater goes on is not clear. He had repeatedly cheated and even challenged the suspension of one of his cheating videos on YouTube. His mother complained after becoming aware of the lawsuit, among other things, that Epic Games had made the name of the pet public. Epic Games denied this in the meantime and pointed out that they had only used the initials of the affected player. Only through the contradiction of the mother were the personal information permeated. An out of court settlement seems to be likely with this player.
