Activision and the relevant developers of Bungie are known to bring this year a successor of the commercially successful online shooter “Destiny” on the market. However, the responsible persons have not yet officially unveiled “Destiny 2”, so it was only speculated that the shooter will be like the first part in September.
Now a new poster of GameStop Italy has been dubbed “Destiny 2“, which reveals that the title will be released on September 8, 2017 in Europe. In addition, the poster shows that Activision and Sony Interactive Entertainment will once again have more PlayStation-exclusive content to offer.
In addition, the poster is also announcing a beta phase, which is likely to have an earlier access to PlayStation 4 users. Concrete details about the game as well as an official confirmation by Activision are still pending. In the past few weeks, however, some information has been released, which, among other things, have revealed that the game progress from the first part will not be accepted.
Only the personality personalizations as well as the class, the species, the sex, the face, the hair and the martial remains. Bungie will also honor veteran profiles in the new part.
Update: Jason Schreier of Kotaku and Tom Phillips of Eurogamer seem to know something more about this topic. While Schreier confirmed the authenticity of the poster and apparently also got the unveiling date, Phillips would have learned something from a time-exclusive beta on the PlayStation 4. And as we all know, the Leaks rarely appear randomly in the case of Activision games. The announcement of the date is obviously imminent.
Ah fuck – I misread a text. Important correction: Destiny 2 might not be announced *today*. Will be soon, though. (Yes, poster is real.)
