In a recent interview, Mike Pondsmith has revealed some details about the upcoming “Cyberpunk 2077” -rolling game by CD Projekt RED. Thus, the character classes of the classic template will be included in the game.
CD Projekt RED works well on one of the most anticipated games of the coming years. After the huge international success of the fantasy roll-up game “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” the players hope that “Cyberpunk 2077” is at least as good, if not better.
Remain faithful to the original
Mike Pondsmith, the creator of the 1988 Tabletop Rolling Game, is working closely with the developers and has revealed a few more details in a recent interview. However, he is not allowed to reveal too much information, since otherwise he will get quite anger with the Polish developers.
Its original tabletop scrolling game had some unusual character classes such as journalist, rockstar, manager and more to offer. In the new interview Pondsmith has announced that CD projekt RED’s “Cyberpunk 2077” will also use these character classes. So he said, “Yes, you will have them, they will all be contained, but I can tell you that there will be some surprises as they have implemented it and I believe you will really love it.”
According to Pondsmith, there is a lot of subtlety in the game. He had finally spent a whole week exploring ways to integrate these into the game so that the characters were portrayed with the appropriate sentiment. In the template, there were nine character classes. The classes Cop, Corporate, Fixer, Media, Netrunner, Nomad, Rockerboy, Solo, Techie and Med-Tech have been used.
In addition, Pondsmith has emphasized that despite the long development period one must not worry. Rather, the project is developing exactly as it had imagined. “The vision is pretty close to what I’d imagined years ago, and when they were making the CGI trailer, I looked at it and thought it was perfect, all the details and touches of Cyberpunk in the background Because they are themselves fans, “he said later. CD projekt RED has captured the feeling perfectly and try to ensure that this remains the case.
“Cyberpunk 2077” has not yet received a concrete appearance date.
