CyberConnect2, creators of the “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm” series, today announced a new trilogy to mark the company’s next ten years.
The Japanese developer CyberConnect2 had focused in recent years, especially on the development of the “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm” games. However, since the series was officially completed last year, the question arises as to what the studio is now working on. However, in the current issue of Weekly Famitsu, those responsible have revealed their long-term plan for their next project.
So, they are working on a project that will determine the next ten years of the company. In the period three games of a new “revenge trilogy” will be published. The following titles were named:
•Fugue of the Battlefield – War x Revenge x Beasts – Share a world view with “Tail Concerto”. The setting is similar to “Solatorobo”
•Tokyo Ogre Gate – Schoolgirl x Revenge x Steampunk. An action game in which the scroll direction changes.
•Cesile – Goth Ioli x revenge x witches. A 2.5D scroll action game.
Furthermore, the people responsible have announced that they plan to significantly expand the development studio in the next two years. So 100 new employees are to be hired. For more information about the new project and the future, CyberConnect2 has not yet announced.
