“Call of Duty: WW2” will come a little adapted to the German trade. Only the usual anti-constitutional symbols, which may not be included in the games released by the USK, had to give way. The multiplayer part and the zombie challenge are identical to the international versions.
The release of “Call of Duty: WW2” is due. And also the local USK has wowed the title in the meantime, so that nothing stands in the way of the launch in Germany. The test result does not offer much surprises. The German version of “Call of Duty: WW2” has received from the USK the age classification “No youth release according to § 14 JuSchG” (from 18 years).
Both the multiplayer and zombie modes are identical to the international version, according to the publisher Activision. However, in the campaign you have to forgo something of authenticity: “The only change in the German, as well as the Austrian and the German-speaking Swiss version of the game, concerns the representation of signs of unconstitutional organizations (according to § 86a StGB) in the story mode” Activision in today’s press release.
But there is still a positive message: All the above versions are optional in English. “Call of Duty: WW2” will be released on November 3, 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC.
