The launch of “Assassin’s Creed Origins” is approaching with great strides, which is connected with further revelations to the action-adventure. This includes information on the grave pillage, shared by Creative Director Ashraf Ismail.
Creative Director Ashraf Ismail, who is responsible for “Assassin’s Creed Origins”, spoke in a recent interview on the exploration and plundering of graves. After this game component was last part of “Assassin’s Creed 2”, she will return in the upcoming series sequel. Thanks to the setting of the upcoming Action Adventures, such a feature is of course available. After all, “Assassin’s Creed Origins” transports the players into ancient Egypt, where enough graves and trenches invite to plunder.
According to Ismail, “Assassin’s Creed Origins” will even hit “quite a few tombs”, which are very different. In some, you’ll find a classic puzzle gameplay, while other objects of this kind challenge your navigation skills. Many of the tombs are based on existing templates, so you will not only explore places that are inspired by the designers’ imagination.
Like “Assassin’s Creed 2”, which brought many replicated real life environments, including the Basilica of St. Mark in Venice, “Origins” was created with the ambition to revive the authentic feeling of an older world. To this end, Ubisoft has worked with historians on the design of the game trenches.
“We made a lot of effort to build these graves,” says Ismail. All the information about the templates, pictures and similar materials was used. “We actually tried to make them as identical as possible,” he says. “For example, the Greek pyramid: all the chambers and all the corridors are an authentic representation, well, of course, we want to have some fun and go a bit further, what are the secret chambers that have not yet been discovered?”
“Assassin’s Creed Origins” is scheduled to be available on the world market as of October 27, Supported are the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles as well as the PC.
