This is used when the players do not opt for an outfit in online mode. The said feature is to prevent that two players compete with the same outfit.
Since an official change log is still pending, it is unclear what changes in detail with the “ARMS” update to version 4.0.1. It is believed that small bugs that came with the 4.0 update could be fixed.
