You start with a few fighters in a large post apocalyptic world. Your goal is to be able to survive until the end of time. Your warriors are gaining experience as you kill enemies. They is jumping to the top ranks and it is still easier to cut zombies. In short, we can say that the classic zombie survival game is like Age of Empires.At the beginning you can choose your map, your difficulty and day length.
(Footnote: Even in the easiest of difficulties, we could not make it to the last day.) Then you start a game with a home base and 5 warriors. Will you be able to resist the forces of the zombies surrounding you ?
You need to get stronger and stronger by building a house, removing workers and building up the necessary equipment. We need more troops and more maps to grow. After a while, you have to pull your ramparts and prevent the zombies from entering small holes. Or a zombie group of can cause all your labor to end badly.
You should spend all the materials in your hand carefully and put in your replacement. If you have a “worker” or “electricity” source in one place, you really end up in it. If one is not renewed from any source, there is nothing left to do. If your resources are not renewed, the game is over.
If you have the more “workers” , you have the more soldiers. The more soldiers, the larger the army. You should build your walls as narrowly but effectively as possible. Or just like Santa Claus, the zombies who enter from the flue can be your trouble.
When you set the basic needs of the game in a good way, the zombies are not able to handle too much. A few veteran robots, archers, villagers can be saviors. We may not have succeeded in passing even the first map yet. But we are working on it. 🙂 Age of Empires, at first. It’s not as easy as Age of Empires. As a result, you are fighting against a tough artificial intelligence. And did the zombies once infected the village? It’s hard to get the rest together. Taking fresh human smell, they running to your base.
At first, it would be a very sensible idea to explore your surroundings by walking around the big map with a single soldier. Of course, if you do not own the places you discover, you see it as dark. The areas where you plant the electric poles are clearly visible. The big map is very difficult to capture, because while you are killing the zombie rides elsewhere, you are attacked by your village. When you stop the attack, the zombies attack your soldiers who are out there. Your soldiers are dying and you have to get rid of the zombie rebels from the beginning.
In short, the game is very difficult for me in terms of artificial intelligence. Zombie + artificial intelligence really forced me / our boundaries. I could only see the first 40 days. I never passed it after. Big attacks came, I got through them, but somehow 100-150-200 etc. I could not finish the day. But that does not mean that I will be stop trying to pass first map. Whenever you read this review, i still focusing the game. I believe that one day I will complete 22% of the time! 🙂
The music of the game feels like in classic zombie movies. So many bi did not wake up the air in the apocalypse. However, it is important to remember that the game is Alpha and is still being developed. I believe that they will add new game music in the future.
Graphically, it is one of my favorite rare early access games (okay not so rare). I am not much of an RTS fan, but this game really can connect me for hours thanks to its graphics. Some graphics bugs are available. There are bugs that we see together with game faults. However, we know on the fact that the game is completely alpha. 🙂
It’s like a The Walking Dead series. We want to see your struggle to survive against the rather challenging zombie colonies. “In the campaign, the player will have a growing personal army to destroy the swarms and free the paths. Those swarms will be dynamic. They will move, they can combine, and they will grow. Because of this, you have to be very careful and strategic on how you expand your colonies.”
The design of the game, the Steampunk air is incredibly beautiful. When we look at general RTS games as a drawing, Steampunk + zombie + RTS blend very nicely. Zombie drawings, workers, villages, could be drawn in more detail. Especially if the portres can move like “magic”, this will look much nicer.
There are too many bugs in the game. As we mentioned above.Some map bugs, killed my soldiers. ‘Cuz they stuck in the middle of road or zombie. Or the big zombies came from the first day ( actually I havent time for a build any tent or etc. ) . Than the village broke down before I could take my first worker. Some dark places are not fully open. I was literally expecting the game controls to be wider.
