Square Enix has announced a new roll-up game called “Antique Carnevale” with a fresh trailer. Too many details have so far not been included.
Square Enix has surprisingly announced a new roll game called “Antique Carnevale”. With a first trailer, we already have a look at a character called Bernhard. By July 14, 2017 four more characters will be presented in new videos.
However, Square Enix has so far not revealed what platforms “Antique Carnevale” should appear, which is why it is harder to assess what you expect with the new game. However, the publisher has already provided a description of the story:
Have you ever thought about the difference between “things” and “living things”?
Or the difference between a “doll” and a “person.”
If you ask, people will probably answer, “They are not able to move independently.”
However, after entering the maze …
Is a “doll” really a thing that can not move independently?
Is a “person” really someone who moves the doll with his own will?
Pulling in while looking for an exit, the traveler is completely lost …
And the one boy who had visited the labyrinth …
He will listen. The lingering cry of this “person” who was perishing in the labyrinth.
He will know. The wishes of the “doll” imprisoned in the labyrinth.
To this young man who stands between the “person” and the “doll” …
Bernhard is described as an incarnation of the conjured Wyvern beast, and as a young captain of Valamion, he usually watches over the city. He has a strong sense of righteousness, but often draws too quickly conclusions, whereupon the people around him have to calm down. Now he is to find the strongest master of the next generation.
On the official website for the game there are some tags, which allow interesting conclusions. This is called “Brettspiel”, “RPG”, “Schach”, “Othello”, “Reversi” and “Kampf”. So you can expect that “Antique Carnevale” will be a Japano Rolling Game that incorporates strategic board game elements.
Should Square Enix provide further information, we will keep you up to date.
