In the coming week, you will be able to take advantage of games that started on the Xbox 360 and later found the way to the Xbox One through downward compatibility. More than 275 offers with discounts of up to 75 percent are promised.
Larry Hyrb, Director of Programming for Xbox Live, has announced in a tweet that the Xbox community can adjust to a new sale. Starting next week, Xbox 360 games compatible with the Xbox One will be offered more cheaply as part of the “Backwards Compatibility Super Sale”. The sale will start on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
According to Major Nelson, more than 275 games are reduced by up to 75 per cent. A complete list is not yet available, but with a small selection, Hyrb delivered a taste. He called “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2“, “Red Dead Redemption”, “Skate 3” and “Grand Theft Auto 4”. It is unclear what the prices are for these games and what further games are included in the sale.
An official list of all Xbox 360 games previously compatible with the Xbox One is available here. And the selection is growing continuously. Almost every week more games are added to the list. As soon as further information on the upcoming sale has arrived, let us know. Here the corresponding Tweet:
