For quite some time, the “Dead Space” makers from Visceral Games have been working on a new action adventure based on the “Star Wars” brand. As officially confirmed, this will not play any role at this year’s E3.
As is certainly known, the “Dead Space” and “Battlefield Hardline” makers of Visceral Games are currently working on a new “Star Wars” adventure.
Too many details to this the responsible persons so far unfortunately could not elicit. Among other things, we were talking about the fact that we are dealing here with an action-adventure, which should give us an alternative view of the “StarWars” universe. It was also confirmed that the story was written by the “Uncharted” author Amy Hennig.
After many years of electronic Arts confirmed that Visceral’s “StarWars” adventure is still going on for quite a while, Amy Hennig confirmed on demand that the project will not play any role at this year’s E3.
Instead, this year, everything will revolve around the upcoming shooter “StarWars Battlefront 2”, which is currently being developed by the guys from DICE. When it is to be expected with further handfesten details to the “Star Wars” title of Visceral, Hennig unfortunately left open.
It's #Battlefront2's year – very proud of our friends at DICE and Motive! We're still hard at work on our game, though, have no fear… 🙂
