With “Sparc”, the guys from CCP Games have launched a new PlayStation VR title, which is to be physically demanding as a sporting competition. With a trailer you already have a look at the game.
CCP Games officials have released the so-called “vSport” competition “Sparc” for PlayStation VR. According to the developers, the new title is supposed to bring about a unique whole-body experience, which in this way is only possible in virtual reality. The VR hardware is to become one’s own sports equipment.
In “Sparc” two players meet online in fast and physically demanding gameplay duels. With PlayStation Move you can throw distance projectiles on your opponent, which can, of course, evade, block and redirect. In addition, the developers offer several game modes for two players, while also offering comprehensive customization possibilities for their own character. In solo challenges, however, you can practice throwing and deflecting the projectiles.
“From learning the basics of the game to perfecting tricks that are challenging the opponent, almost everything is possible in Sparc’s dynamic gameplay – and players of all skill levels can compete to prove their skill,” he emphasized Executive Producer Morgan Godat.
“Sparc” costs 29.99 dollars in the PlayStation Store. In order to get an impression of the game, the officials have also provided an official launch trailer.
