One of the first major publishers to confirm their support for the new platform after the official unveiling of Nintendo’s Switch was the Japanese company Square Enix.This released Punks an implementation of the Oldschool Rolling Game “I Am Setsuna” and also announced that “Dragon Quest Heroes” and “Dragon Quest Heroes 2” will appear in a Pakekt for Switch. This is “Seiken Densetsu 3” obviously not yet done.
Instead, Square Enix, with a short teaser clip, circulated on the official Twitter channel of the publisher, suggests that the Virtual Console from Switch is also to be considered with one or the other highlight. Concretely, the classic “Seiken Densetsu 3“, which can be seen in the teaser video.
This appeared in the year 1995 for the Super Nintendo and belongs to today the most popular roll games, the Nintendos cult console has to offer. However, the thing had a not to be underestimated hook: “Seiken Densetsu 3” was never published in the West.
It remains to be seen whether this will change with the release of the Virtual Console.
