Capcom has announced a gold edition of “Resident Evil 7”. At least in Japan this is to come to the market in December. Included is a bonus chapter devoted to Zoe. It is also to be sold separately for owners of “Resident Evil 7”. For Europe there is no confirmation.
Capcom has announced a gold edition of “Resident Evil 7”. She is to appear for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, but there is a catch. The extended version was only confirmed for Japan. In the Land of the Rising Sun, the Gold Edition of “Resident Evil 7” will be released on December 24, 2017 as a download for the price of 4,990 yen. That is about $38.
For the PS4, a physical version for the price of 5,398 Yen is to be made available. That’s about $41. The announcement was made in the latest issue of the Japanese Famitsu. In addition to the main game “Resident Evil 7” and the two additional episodes “Prohibited footage 1” and “Prohibited footage 2”, the gold edition of the Capcom Horror will also bring with it a Zoe Baker dedicated bonus chapter titled “End of Zoe”.
However, existing customers who already own a copy of “Resient Evil 7” do not have to buy the game again as Gold Edition to play this episode. It is also sold separately as DLC. The price is 1,500 yen – or around eleven euros. The sale will start together with the free “Not a Hero” expansion on December 14, 2017. The gold edition for Europe has not yet been announced.
