“Ready or Not” is described as a realistic SWAT tactic shooter. The development has been running for about a year for the PC. While the release date is still pending, you can take a look at a trailer.
The developers of Void Interactive have announced a new game called “Ready or Not”. A tactical shooter with realistic approaches is promised, in which you join a SWAT unit. Afterwards it is among other things to rescue hostages and eliminate criminals. You will be fighting in a singleplayer mode, where you can command the AI, or in multiplayer combat with up to eight players per unit.
The development of “Ready or Not” started in June 2016 for the PC. The description refers to a dynamic control system that provides different levels of coverage, leaning on and adaptable running speeds. In addition, doors can be opened both slowly and quickly. Before a mission starts, the next procedure is planned. This includes the choice of weapons and other equipment.
According to the developer, the gameplay will be very realistic. For example, you need to consider things like the recoil or force of weapons. In addition, a non-lethal approach is possible. Gummiggeschosse, Taser and Pfefferspray are also helpful. Here is the first trailer for the upcoming “Ready or Not”:
