To the planned rhythm adventure “Project Rap Rabbit” a new conceptual Gameplayvideo was provided, which should already underline what the players could expect.
Last month, “PaRappa the Rapper” creator Masaya Matsuura and “Gitaroo Man” creator Keiichi Yano revealed that they are now working together on a new rhythm adventure called “Project Rap Rabbit”.
The game had received a kickstarter campaign to raise 855,000 pounds. However, only 136,475 pounds have been collected so far. Since the crowdfunding campaign only takes ten days, the question arises as to whether the financing goal can be achieved and the development of “Project Rap Rabbit” can be secured.
In order to inspire the players once again for a support, the developers have now released a gameplay video, in which one already shows a concept for the game mechanics. Accordingly, it is only a prototype. The lyrics and the Rappen were offered by a developer, whereby the music in the final game should be longer and varied.
By the way, the graphics and animations are not yet final. The developers will probably provide 3D backgrounds and characters with rich animations.
According to the current plan “Project Rap Rabbit” will be released in August 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PC, with a Nintendo switch version promised.
