The Japanese publisher Konami has announced that they have entered into a partnership with the International Champion Cup. Thus the unique tournament of the preseason will find the way to the football simulation “Pro Evolution Soccer” in the future.The leaders of Konami and the organizers of the International Champion Cup (ICC) have announced that they have entered into a partnership to bring this world-class tournament into the upcoming football simulation “PES 2018”.
In the ICC, for some four years, some of the best teams in the world have met each other to face a real hardening test in the pre-season. This year, clubs such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Lyon, AS Rome, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Arsenal London, Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
“The collaboration between KONAMI and the ICC underscores our intention to provide fans with the ultimate football experience by providing pre-season content in PES 2018,” said Takayuki Kabo, President of Konami Digital Entertainment USA. The ICC offers a unique access to the global football market. Players will benefit from a special ICC agent for myClub gameplay this year. Next year, the tournament will also be integrated into other game modes.
“PES 2018” will be released on 14 September 2017 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the PC.
