Once again, a supposed technical problem of the Nintendo Switch has come to light. Just a month after the release of console hybrids on Reddit some reports have emerged, according to which the Nintendo Switch should be deformed due to the additional heat in the docking station.
According to the Reddit user OP _NSR, the console should show deformations in TV mode after almost 50 hours of gameplay. “Fortunately, it has not influenced the way it plays, and the lack of a drive is definitely a good thing,” writes OP _NSR.
Also another user reported that his Nintendo Switch has a similar problem. “I looked at my two days ago and it seems that it starts to bend as well,” it says. However, there are also other players who have not noticed any deformations even after 120 hours of playing time in TV mode. Accordingly, it may be that only isolated consoles have to contend with overheating.
In the Dock mode, the computing power of the Nintendo Switch is screwed on something to, among other things, the image resolution screw up. However, this also increases the thermal formation of the console, which should lead to the deformations.
