The Japanese publishers Square Enix were among the first publishers to announce that they would support Nintendo’s new platform switch as part of the official unveiling at the beginning of the year.
At the launch of Switch, for example, this provided an implementation of the Oldschool rolling game “I Am Setsuna”, which is already available for the PC and PlayStation 4. But it is not supposed to be. Instead, Square Enix recently promised that the company plans to switch to the long term.
A leading employee of Sqaure Enix is responsible for fresh rumors and speculation. No one ever released a new tweet like Takashi Tokita, who was among others as a supervision behind “Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection” or as producer of “Final Fantasy Dimensions“.
Not only is there a Nintendo switch system, but the tweet has also been labeled “A Top Secret Mission”. Since so far no further details on the top Secret project of Square Enix have been mentioned, remains to be seen, what switch users can look forward in detail.
