Is your Nintendo Switch battery fast? Then you could be affected by a defect on the battery indicator. You can temporarily disable it by deactivating the display. Of course, Nintendo also offers a repair for defective devices.
After the launch of the Nintendo Switch came up isolated reports, in which is talked of a much too short battery time. Thus, it may happen that the charge state of the energy storage device drops from 100 to 1 percent after only 60 seconds. However, the switch will not turn off after this and can continue for up to one hour with the indicated charge status.
This seems to have a simple reason. As Kotaku reports, the fast discharge is actually no problem with the battery. Rather, it is a faulty display, which you can quite easily avoid the way by switching off the percent display for the battery status of the console.
This suggests that it is a bug on the battery indicator, which leads to an incorrect display or assessment of the actual charge state of the Nintendo Switch. Of course, in the case of an incident, Nintendo’s customer service may also be contacted, which should provide for an exchange or repair of the console.
