“Nex Machina” received today a publication date. And not only that: With a trailer, the developers of Housemarque introduce a new feature with the co-op mode.
Housemarque has just unveiled the release date of “Nex Machina”. The title will be released on June 20, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC. The announcement of the release date is accompanied by a video, which includes a further revelation. Because the video confirms that in “Nex Machina” you do not necessarily have to go to battle alone.
“Nex Machina” includes a local co-op mode, which lets you play side by side with friends. Housemarque compares this to the game sessions in the old school arcade halls. After the start of the Co-op component, you can support each other, but also compete. The following video for “Nex Machina” provides further insights into the co-op mode.
The co-op mode is not the only innovation announced in recent weeks for “Nex Machina”. Added to this are challanges, a replay mode and a season-based structure. In the course of the Seasons you can ascend in the ranks, while you get experience points and Season Coins.
The features will ultimately result in an improved game depth and a higher replay value. In addition, you can compete with other players in the leaderboards.
