So far, the switch-exclusive “Monster Hunter XX” has only been confirmed for the Japanese market. Capcom on demand, it will remain for the time being,
A few weeks ago, the Japanese publisher Capcom announced the ongoing work on “Monster Hunter XX” for Nintendo’s Switch.
As the name of the game suggests, we are dealing with a revised version of “Monster Hunter X”, which was released in the West under the name “Monster Hunter Generations” for the Nintendo 3DS family. In addition to a reworked look, “Monster Hunter XX” also gets a lot of new content.
Monster Hunter XX: Originally only in Japan
These include new quests, exclusive monsters, and two new combat styles. For Western players the whole thing unfortunately has a small catch. So “Monster Hunter XX” was only confirmed for a release in Japan. The West had been looking into the tube.
As Capcom gave on demand, it will remain for the time being, because the company “Monster Hunter XX” can not currently confirm for the West. Instead, the “Monster Hunter World”, which is created for the consoles and the PC, is currently being developed internally.
With the new offshoot, Capcom wants to focus on the Western public, according to its own data.
We’re 100% focused on World for western audiences. Yes, this is next main title! We have nothing to announce for Switch currently. https://t.co/Jv2LVEJSXH
