The developers of Guerrilla Games have released patch 1.33 for “Horizon Zero Dawn”. This introduces a new memory function for the game. It is supposed to make sure that you can return to an old run after a start of New Game +. The update also brought various bug fixes, as the Patchnotes to the “Horizon: Zero Dawn” update 1.33 betray.
Guerrilla Games has released a new patch for “Horizon: Zero Dawn”. The update with the version number 1.33 is now available for download. When you update the title, you transfer something more than 300 MB. An official changelog is also available.
With Update 1.33 for “Horizon: Zero Dawn”, a new memory function is introduced, with which Savegames can be saved manually. The developers have explained in the Reddit forum what this is all about. As a result, automatically created memory levels were overwritten before the latest update of the game when players started New Game +. For this reason, the players who have only automatic memory can not return to an old run.
After updating to version 1.33, the system will give a hint when you start New Game + in “Horizon Zero Dawn” in the event that there are only automatically created memory states, which should help you manually create a memory. This allows you to switch from a New Game + to a previous run at a later time. The “Horizon: Zero Dawn – Patch 1.33” brings a few more changes, as the following changelog reveals:
Horizon: Zero Dawn – Patch 1.33
Implemented an option to allow making a manual save from a previous Game when starting a New Game to avoid losing progress.
Fixed an issue where for some players Tearblast Arrows incorrectly deal extra Tear damage on Ultra Hard.
Fixed an issue where some players were able to reroll Special Modification Boxes by saving and reloading.
Progression issues fixes
Fixed an issue in ‘The Womb of the Mountain’ when playing on Story difficulty where some players were able to kill the Corruptor outside of the gate, blocking progression because the player is not able to interact with it to continue the quest.
