Hello Games officials have announced at the GDC 2017 that they have launched a new initiative called “Hello Labs” to support other developers.
The guys from Hello Games, who last year released the space exploration game “No Man’s Sky” for the PlayStation 4 and the PC, have now founded a new initiative, which is intended to help small developers studios. The focus here is on the creation of procedural and general experimental content.
Within the scope of the GDC 2017, the studio founder Sean Murray once again raised his grin and in his session “Creation of worlds with the use of mathematics” also addressed the new initiative Hello Labs. With this one would like to support no more than up to two projects financially. You will also help with the development. According to Murray, a project is already under development.
He also revealed that Hello Games is currently working on a new update for “No Man’s Sky”. He did not go into detail, but he made it clear once again that the title, which had seen itself exposed to numerous criticisms, once began as a hobby for him and this is still somehow still today.
