“Gran Turismo Sport” has not yet received an official date, but the OPM recently put a date in circulation. On Twitter, publication provided for a correction. The fall 2017 applies to “Gran Tursimo Sport” as an official release period.
“Gran Turismo Sport” should not only offer a traditional gameplay that takes advantage of the current generation of consoles. Purchasing policy can also be regarded as classical. Once again, the developers of Polyphony Digital are waiting a long time for the racing simulation. Apart from the fact that “Gran Turismo Sport” is due to be released in the autumn of this year, there is no more details on the publication date – at least officially.
A few days ago, the Official PlayStation Magazine put a similar record into circulation. The publication named November 16, 2017 as the day of the publication of “Gran Turismo Sport”. Sometimes the big editors know more than the rest of the audience, but the naming of the date was quite unusual, since Sony on the E3 2017, which offered a much bigger stage for such an announcement, renounced the announcement.
Meanwhile, the Official PlayStation Magazine rode back and published a correction via Twitter. According to the editorial staff, autumn 2017 is considered an official release period. Therefore, the 16th of November 2017 should be forgotten. Whether this fact is actually wrong, can not be taken from the tweet. The magazine points only to the officially Sony-mentioned period.
Sony recently announced that the release dates of the first-party games will be announced in the future only if the risk of a shift is minimized or completely eradicated. This is intended to prevent disappointments associated with displacements. This does not mean that there are no exact release dates for these games internally – as in the case of “Gran Turismo Sport”.
Correction to a misprint in issue 138: GT Sport is due out FALL/AUTUMN 2017.
