The Polish developer studio 11 bit Studios has now provided the first screenshots of the extremely gloomy urban development simulation “Frostpunk” and thus also a look at the game mechanics.
Currently, the guys from 11-bit studios, mainly known for the survival title “This War of Mine”, are working on the gloomy urban development simulation “Frostpunk”. Meanwhile, the Polish developers have also provided some screenshots, which give us a first concrete look at the game.
The pictures show, among other things, the user interface as well as some game mechanics. The red “discontent” (dissatisfaction) and the blue “Hope” bar (hope) seem to be of particular importance. In addition, there are tasks which are held in the same colors, so you can assume that these will have an influence on the respective bars.
You can also take a look at the city’s legal system and the problems of child labor. “Frostpunk” is by the way a much larger production than “This War of Mine”, which is why the playing time is also to be increased. The game will be released this year for the PC.
