The PlayStation VR shooter “Farpoint” has received a new expansion pack. Players can look forward to a free Versus expansion pack.
Impulse Gear executives have equipped the PlayStation VR shooter “Farpoint” with a Versus expansion pack that is available to all players for free. Thus, the players have the opportunity to play two new PvP modes in which two players can compete against each other. However, you need a valid PlayStation Plus membership.
Interestingly enough, players can also reveal hostile creatures of the planet and use them to their own benefit in combat. The two new PvP modes are not the only contents of the Versus expansion pack. The developers also brought three new player skins and 15 new weapons into play. The new content can be unlocked with player and weapon EP.
On the official PlayStation blog, the developers explained more about the game modes: “In Uplink, there are radio amplifiers in the game area that players must grab and hold to earn points, and eliminating the other player and his AI aides will also earn points . ”
Furthermore, Deathmatch and Uplink are turn-based, so you have to win two out of three rounds on each card to finally be the winner. Each round should take place in another, separate area of one of the three new maps (Underworld, Pipeline, Permafrost). Each card has three sections, so you have to master the complete map.
