The PS4 community is still waiting for the release of “Fallout Shelter” on their favorite platform. The announcement is up to now, according to Bethesda is also the reason why the company does not talk about a possible port. For mobile systems, PC and Xbox One, the free 2-play title is already available.
“Fallout Shelter” was once a mobile game and after a huge success, Bethesda extended the gambling experience to the PC and the Xbox One. For the PlayStation 4 the title, in which you have to manage a Vault, so far not been submitted. This naturally raises the question whether the PS4 users can count on “Fallout Shelter” and when the launch would take place. Bethesda, however, wraps himself in silence.
Based on this, Bethesda’s marketing chief Pete Hines was confronted with another question: Why does the company let the PS4 community flounder and does not provide a clear statement. According to Bethesda, this is a normal procedure, as the company does not usually talk about unannounced things. “Basically, we are not talking about games / platforms / etc about what we are going to do or not, and if it is not announced, we will not talk about it.”
This statement was directed at a fan who had to check out a few times at Hines and wanted to know if “Fallout Shelter” would ever be on the PlayStation 4. In February 2017, Pete Hines stated that “Fallout Shelter” was not created specifically for the Xbox One, but as a Universal Windows platform app, which at least provided for a wide PC support. Whether Sony’s console is somehow considered, remains to be seen.
