Currently the developers of Tango Softworks are working on the horror title “The Evil Within 2”. As officially confirmed, Shinji Mikami will not be the director this time.
In the context of this year’s E3, the American publisher Bethesda Softworks unveiled various new projects, which are currently under construction.
Among them is the horror title “The Evil Within 2”, which has been haunted by the rumors for a few weeks. According to official figures, the protagonist Sebastion once again sets the madness and goes to the search for his daughter Lily, who was believed dead. In addition to a gripping plot, the successor will offer, among other things, more open areas and more playful freedoms than the first.
As a supplement to the official announcement of “The Evil Within 2” at this year’s E3 leaked, Shinji Mikami, who is considered a creative head behind the first part, will not function as a director in the successor. This can be seen from a corresponding job vacancy notice.
Anyone who has succeeded the succession of the 51-year-old Japanese man, who is the executive producer in “The Evil Within 2”, unfortunately could not see the job advertisements. “The Evil Within 2” is currently being released for the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 and is due to be released on October 13th.
