As the developers of Snowcastle Games in a current opinion assured, the rolling game “Earthlock: Festival of Magic” will definitely still appear for Wii U. An exact date can not call the studio so far, but according to its own information, however, the Wii U-release “as soon as possible.”
Since it has been quite quiet around the announced Wii U-implementation of the round-based rolling game “Earthlock: Festival of Magic” in the past weeks, one or the other feared that the developers of Snowcastle Games might have decided to work on the Wii U version.
As can be inferred from a recent statement by Swedish developers, this is by no means the case. Instead, the studio decided, after thorough examination, only to give the Wii U-implementation of “Earthlock: Festival of Magic” a little more time for the final fine grinding.
Earthlock Festival of Magic: Wii U-version is the final touch
“I want to assure you all that we continue to work on the Wii U version,” the developers said on Kickstarter. “We did the first optimization test in January and were confident that we could publish the title a short time later, but after the appropriate quality test, we came to the conclusion that it needs a little more work.”
As it continues, the Wii U-implementation of “Earthlock: Festival of Magic” is currently undergoing the final fine tuning and will be released as soon as possible. A good news for all who have financially supported the roll-up on kickstarter: If Snowcastle Games is followed by a switch version, it can be downloaded or purchased from all kickstarter bakers at no extra cost.
